We all know about the many forms of physical activity like hitting a gym, Zumba, aerobic exercise, pilates, yoga, etc.

Choose any of this, but physical exercises are the most critical factor if you want to improve your mental health.

The second is meditation. It works on reducing your hyper neural activity by cooling your mind. It also works on the Habit of substance abuse. It provides great relaxation to your mind and body, also improves physical health. There are many ways of meditating your mind like:

Breath Consciousness Meditation

First of all, in all the meditation techniques, you need a peaceful environment with zero interruptions.

You have to sit in crossed leg posture. Close your eyes. Focus on your breaths. You only need to focus on how you breathe in and out.

Mantra Meditation

In this type of meditation in the same position, you have to focus on words like “om” or any mantra you like.

Yoga

There are many forms of yoga asana. But for excellent mental health, kundalini yoga is the best, including mantra meditation, breathing consciousness, yoga, and singing. It activates your positive neural activity.

Thoughtful Meditation

In this technique, you will have to think about a person or a photo in the same posture. You are focusing on a person than your breath. It is a little tricky for some but focuses on your body sensations.

Vipassana Meditation
