The main problem is that it can spread by various means, which we will discuss today.

How Is HIV Spread In LGBTQ+ People?

HIV uses various means to spread from one person to another; some of the most common means of HIV circulating are given below:

  • Having Sex With Someone Having HIV:

Mostly the people from the LGBTQ+ community prefer to have sex with a man or other members of the same community. The means of sex is always “Anal,” and Anal sex is the highest-risk sexual behavior. Receptive Anal sex is riskier than Insertive Anal sex; that is why it is spreading very quickly in their community worldwide.

  • Having Many Sex Partners:

Due to the genetic conditions of LGBTQ+ people, they like to have sex in groups. Mostly several people of these communities will organize a sex party and sex in groups. If a single one is HIV positive, then all have the risk of AIDS. Then they again spread it to others from the same community. The process creates a chain of dissemination.

  • Changing Of Partner From Time To Time:

As you know, that man gay will never marry another gay; they find someone like them and have sex with him, the process will go on, and mostly all LGBTQ+ people are interlinked with each other, and it will higher the risk of spreading HIV at the community level, which is a concerning issue.

  • No Use Of Protection:

As the people of the LGBTQ+ community have no risk of having fertility during sex, they never prefer or use a Protection and carry on Anal sex continuously that spreads HIV among their community.

Effects Of HIV

HIV is a deadly and malignant virus, and it will cause many serious concerns in the Body of the Victim. All over the world, the Cases of HIV are seen mostly in people of the LGBTQ+ community; the main symptoms and effects are described below:

Another effect of HIV in the body of people is the spreading of infections all over the body. Various skin and internal fungus and yeah started to germinate in your body and skin, which resulted in Onion and fungal infections on the skin. Sometimes the infection will spread over the scalp of the victim.

There is no permanent cure for HIV globally, but it can be controlled in the initial stages and can be stopped there. But, the proper treatment isn’t perpetrated by the Viction, HIV takes the shape of AIDS, and then no one saves the victim from death and a series of deadly diseases.

  • Low Immunity:

The main target of HIV is always the victim’s immunity, and it will kill all the White Blood Cells (WBC) and make the power of defense null. The immunity will start to contaminate, and soon the victim will have AIDS.

  • Risk Of Diseases:

As the immunity will be ruined by AIDS, the power of defense will flush out from the body, which leads the victim to suffer from many deadly diseases, including both Waterborne diseases and Airborne diseases.

How Can LGBTQ+ Community Save Themselves From HIV?

There are a lot of ways by which the LGBTQ+ community can save themselves from the risk of HIV; some of the most effective methods are mentioned below:

  • Safe Sexual Activities:

Oral sex is far better than Anal sex; Anal sex has a higher risk of HIV. I always Prefer Oral Sex as it is safer than Anal & Viginal sex. Any sex having no transfer of Fluid between partners is safe and has no risk of HIV.

  • Use Protection (Condoms):

Condoms are widely used worldwide, but there is rarely a chance that the people of the LGBTQ+ community use condoms for sex because they have no risk of having fertility. But without condoms, the risk of HIV will increase a lot. So, using condoms must be a priority.

  • Reduce Number Of Partners For Sex:

Try to avoid sex with many partners because sex with many partners increases the risk of spreading HIV at the community level of LGBTQ+ people. Sex with a single and use protection (condom).

  • Take HIV Treatment ( ART) regularly:

Antiretroviral Treatment (ART) is the treatment for HIV; it will not finish HIV complete but breaks the speed of spreading and stops on the particular stage

  • Never Insert Used Syringe or Blood Test Pin:

If you visit a doctor or hospital, always ensure that the syringe used for the vaccine is new and unused and also while the blood test only prefers the new packed pins.
